Gekko was founded in 1996 in regional Victoria, Australia.
Gekko started out producing InLine Pressure Jigs for continuous gravity separation. Yet growing demand for energy-efficient devices spurred Gekko to re-invent and advance traditional processing flowsheets. Innovative modular designs, elegant systems and smart manufacturing launched Gekko as a world technical leader in gold processing and low-energy mining solutions.

OnLine Gold Analyser
OLGA is a world first onstream analyser designed to continuously read low grade gold grades in slurries and solutions, giving operations the ability to see and control their plants in real time. The alternative traditional sampling methods involve significant delays – up to one or two days for feedback.
The InLine Spinner is gold recovery unit that separates coarse and fine particles with proven performance efficiency.
Gekko’s Innovative ISP is a low risk, low cost, high performance unit.
The innovative InLine Pressure Jig (IPJ) rapidly and efficiently pre-concentrates high-value ore particles using gravity separation, mechanics and fluid dynamics. Improved plant capacity and lower operating costs are delivered by rejecting low-value material prior to further processing.
InLine Leach Reactor
First developed in 1997, the ILR has provided an alternative from traditional physical separation steps, such as using recovery tables, into a lucrative chemical separation process. The ILR’s innovative design and efficient mineral leaching chemistry is providing cost, production and environment gains to hundreds of operations worldwide.
Gekko’s world-class laboratory services and mineral processing specialists offer state-of-the-art testing facilities and expertise.
Gekko find out exactly how much gold or other precious metals an ore contains and determine other important characteristics that affect mineral processing.
To design the best flowsheet for recovering the most gold or other minerals, complete ore deposit testwork and process surveys are performed.
Fast delivery and availabilty of spare parts prevents significant downtime losses.
Even the most robust mining equipment require a replacement part from time to time. That’s why Gekko have spare parts for all their proprietary equipment, available and ready for immediate shipping.
For every mining operation, the ongoing challenge is to keep recovery profits above operating costs, and to ensure this revenue is sustainable.
Gekko provide world-class technical services to support their innovative technologies and beneficial flowsheet designs. Technical service packages offer a direct and effective way to access and integrate Gekko’s technical expertise.
Gekko’s technical services offer genuine value to clients when whole-of-mine efficiencies are critical for optimal recoveries.
The Carbon Scout is a self-contained, ground-level sampling system which will improve carbon concentration measurements in carbon-in-leach and carbon-in-pulp circuits to an accuracy of ±0.5 grams of carbon per litre of pulp. Uniquely, multiple other data points include slurry density, pH, DO and gold on carbon. Data profiles are provided in every tank, every hour.
